three-part series of FREE talks

PART THREE
Dreamwork for Opening to the Source During Sacred Medicine Experiences

FREE TALK: Sunday, August 29, 2021 / 10-11am / zoom

There is a source of profound understanding in each person. All religions point to the importance of contacting this source, which expresses itself to us in a language that is just for us. My dream language will be different than your dream language. It reflects the uniqueness of my nature, just as your unique nature will have a special language that speaks to you. In some ways, dreamwork is learning to decode this source language that is meant just for you.

There are two dimensions of our dream language. One works with the personal language from our current life experience and the other works at the archetypal level. This archetypal level is another dimension of who we are, but it isn’t from our experience in this lifetime. It’s a dimension that is collective or transpersonal. Encountering an archetypal energy in a medicine journey, if not done in a conscious way, can be dangerous and can have all kinds of repercussions in our life when we return to the normal state. Dreamwork familiarizes us with archetypal energies and opens us to our own inner guidance, so we are less likely to fall prey to the dangers involved in opening to the archetypal realm.

In this free talk, I will explore how archetypal experiences in dreams and medicine journeys open us to the uncanny and mysterious. I will discuss how to maximize the benefits and minimize the risks involved when these energies arise during sacred medicine ceremonies. I will also introduce material from different mystery religions that involve oracles and mediumship, which I believe have a lot to offer us when these energetic patterns arise in dreams and dreamlike experiences.
