11-day San Pedro Sacred Medicine Retreat
A psycho-spiritual integration retreat in the Sacred Valley of Peru
July 1-11, 2020 - cancelled due to coronavirus.

San Pedro is a visionary plant medicine of the Andes that can help us feel a profound connection to spirit, nature and our own heart. When used with wisdom and care, it holds a powerful potential for helping us to release limiting patterns and integrate deep spiritual insight with daily life. On this 11-day journey, we will settle into a magical garden in the Sacred Valley surrounded by mountains, where together we will cultivate an atmosphere of love, trust, non-judgment, relaxation and deep play. Gently supported to find your own way, you will sink into yourself, the natural world, and your relationship to spirit.
San Pedro ceremonies begin early in the morning and last into the night. In order to integrate all that we experience in such long ceremonies, the retreat will begin with a full day of preparation, and we will have quiet integration days after each of our three ceremonies. The last full day of the retreat will open us gently to the larger world, with the opportunity to visit a local market, museum or other sites before we close our circle the next morning. Following the retreat, you can add an optional visit to Machu Pichu or other local sites that we can recommend.
Not for beginners, this retreat best serves those who are deeply engaged with psycho-spiritual work (with or without medicine), and would like support and companionship for moving to the next level. Contact us if you have questions about whether it is right for you.
Cost: $1900, double occupancy with attached bath
(add$200 for single; subtract $200 for five-bed dorm)

Location

The retreat center is located in the Sacred Valley in a magical rural area between Pisac and Urubamba, surrounded by mountain peaks. This is a wonderful place to base if you want to explore this enchanting valley after the retreat. There are ruins and local markets nearby, and Machu Pichu is only about two hours away. You can visit the nearby tourist town of Pisac, which has ruins, a wonderful handicraft market, plenty of good restaurants, little interesting shops, and events for visitors. There is also an Incan museum and a nice spa where you can soak and get a massage. We can also book you a driver to take you to Olientambo— a beautiful medieval town with ruins where you can go for the day or stay overnight. On the way there, you can visit the hidden ruins of an Incan temple that is completely off the tourist map.
All of this can be set up after you arrive, talk with others, and get a feel for what you’d like to do. However, you will need to let us know in advance if you want to extend your stay. Just let us know how many days and we will get it reserved for you. There is limited space, so book soon.
