There are many varieties of nighttime dreams and sacred medicine experiences. To understand these different kinds of dreams and visions, we need to connect with inner guidance. As inner guidance grows strong, it ends up becoming the teacher of how to work with your dreams and visions.
This kind of dreamwork is a direct path to something very deep inside each of us which points us toward our own truths. Inner guidance is what to trust after it becomes strong enough. Outer guidance is then less important, and each person then becomes their own guide. In this free talk, I will offer suggestions for how to get in contact with inner guidance, including how to look for inner guidance in the dream narrative and to discern when inner guidance is operating.

FRANK ECHENHOFER conducted neuroscience research on advanced meditators at the Dalai Lama's monastery in India and on Ayahuasca shamans in the Amazon jungle. He is currently doing qualitative research on San Pedro. He is Professor Emeritus in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at the California Institute for Integral Studies and sees individuals privately for psycho-spiritual integration work. Frank’s spiritual path has included deep study and practice of both Tibetan Buddhism and Sufism, as well as sacred medicine work. He is dedicated to identifying and exploring the spiritual truths that lie beyond all systems and theories.
